SMALL CLAIMS
The Ontario Small Claims Court hears cases with a value of $35,000 or less. Our firm has experience litigating a broad range of Small Claims cases including, but not limited to: breach of contract, unpaid debts, lien disputes, battery and assault, privacy breaches, defamation, damages for faulty repair work, and disputes over ownership of property. Jonathan has taken cases from beginning to end, fully understands the Small Claims process, and is not afraid to take matters to trial. He has secured settlements in the tens of thousands of dollars, successfully defended motions, and obtained significant cost awards against large corporations. He is also an experienced trial paralegal - his longest trial spanning ten (10) days.
